Biography: Oleg Kocherov was born in the ancient Russian city Nizhny Novgorod. Oleg is the pupil of 6-th form of school. He’s an excellent student.
Oleg Kocherov began playing Go 4 years ago, under the direction of trainer Jury Solovyov.
He has won the championship of Nizhny Novgorod and the Nizhny Novgorod region for three times among children till 12 years (in 2003, 2004 and 2005). He participated in the Cup LG which passed on June, 26-29, 2003 in Moscow; in 47-th European congress Go which was taken place on July, 19 - on August, 2, 2003 in St. Petersburg, Russia. In January, 2005 Oleg became the vice-champion of Russia on game Go among children till 12 years in the championship of Russia. In the European Youth Go Championship among children till 12 years which has taken place on March, 3-6, 2005 in Slovakia, Oleg has taken the second / third place.
